Hi.. I have a 2015 Yeti 1.2 TSi DSG for last 6 years. No major problems (47000 miles) but starting to get minor niggles.
Latest the Clock on infotainment unit stays at 12 O'clock. Dash clock time is okay.
Tried to reset unit by holding power button for a period but no joy!
Anyone experienced same niggle, and remedy?
Thanks!

Funny this problem with the clock showing a different time on the infotainment system than the dash has cropped up a few times over the last three or four weeks but never before. No solution has been provided as yet but just for info what is the software version number of your head unit?

This is a previous report of the same issue.

Hi , Yes mine doing exactly the same , just started on Friday 1/11/24, 15 plate , 41000 miles, it was in a Skoda dealer several wks ago for a 23DE software update whatever that was , but it has been fine until now so I don’t think that was anything to do with it , I’ve also tried unit reset to no avail , interesting to see how many people experiencing this & if anyone knows a fix.

My Bolero doesn't have an inbuilt clock so only a quick brain storm. As immediately above this post there are two that went wrong on 01/11/2024 I wonder if that is as far as the software is capable of generating? Are you able to set the date manually (probably not) if you can, does it make any difference turning the date back to 2023?

First report of this problem was before 1/11/2024, probably sometime in September as the post is dated 1 Oct. Strange we have never seen this problem before but now have several instances of the same fault that hard reset doesn't seem to resolve.

It sounds more like a set time after the update was done.
If so then it's probable a bad bit of code in the software (or that's my guess, as I have no idea how those 1001011000111001's work).

If it is a software update issue it may help if members with the problem posted their infotainment system hardware and software version numbers. In the other thread on this topic one member has done that and it gives Hardware H20 and Software 0241.

Seems to affect Bolero and Amundsen MIB2 units but clearly not all.

Good afternoon - just read through this thread, as I'm just looking for a solution/answer to the exact same problem!
Our 2016 Yeti 2.0tdi, showing 12:00 on the screen clock, yet right time on the instrument cluster.
Hardware H20, software 0241
I'm not sure exactly when it started, but I only first noticed it last week....

Greetings Interesting this post have the exact same problem on my 2015 Yeti, happened about 2 weeks ago, at the same time as the tyre pressure warn light on the dash came on and after about 10 miles of driving went out. Yes I did stop and check pressures but found nothing wrong. I am wondering if its a software timed problem, after a certain date this happens to get vehicles into a Skoda main dealer, well yes sir you need a software update only cost you an arm and a leg.

That has a ring of truth about it as a old post on the Ross-Tech forum where the clock problem was reported on an MIB2 retrofit was cluster and MIB software related. Why this has suddenly started to show itself on Yeti of a 2015 vintage isn't clear though.

Since the initial issue with the screen clock, which was no big deal really, the unit has now gone completely 'Nuts' in discriminately making phone calls, flicking between radio stations, etc.
Leaving me to contemplate trying to get fixed an errant unit that is ten years old or replacing it with a new Android unit? Possibly to fit myself, having looked on youtube.
I'm just throwing that out there if anyone has any similar, thoughts, advice, or experience?

If you want a proper and permanent repair without the loss of display quality and without the risk of the issue ever recurring:
