I've now had Willy John for 4 weeks and have thoroughly enjoyed his company over the past 1500 miles.

Additions so far include:
Steel rims (7J 16 ET45) and winter tyres (215 60 16)
Rubber mats
Spare wheel and raised floor
Mud flaps
Dash cam (Maplin 720p Journey Recorder) with a 2.5 hour loop which records both date and time.
Thought it was a bargain at £50 as it records in HD and can be played back onto your TV as well as PC.

It seems buying Willy John was only a down payment!!

Next on my wish list are roof rails and top box alhough I'm in a dilemma as whether to buy Skoda original or Halfords.

You are sooo. so right! If it wasn't for my accountant ( the Wife! ) I would have spent a small fortune by now on "must-haves"; and of course, it just has to be Genuine Skoda gear as nothing less will do!With my previous cars (all three of them
) it would be off to Woolies or B&M to get the cheapest.

So yes, you may be right in saying you've only made a down payment.

Now then, where did I see that Columbus sat nav again?

Regards, Lee.

Hi Lee,
Nice to know it's not only 'my ball & chain' who keeps an eye on my wish list spending!
