Not sure if you can find the date made but, the 10th digit gives the model year.9 -2009, A - 2010, B - 2011, C - 2012, D - 2013 & E - 2014.
Maybe another forum member will have the full info for you.
Look at things like the radiator and parts in the engine bay they will have stickers on with production date or week, they are made fairly near the build week of the yeti,
Your dealer should have it on record or SUK could probably tell you if you gave them the VIN. It's the last 6 numbers that they will particularly need. They will probably be able to give you the time of production as well!!!
If no luck with them then the gearbox has a production date and time stamped on it just next to the mechatronics unit. This will be pretty close. Mine is within 5 days.
