Forgot to mention, my particular model has quite high maintenance, but it is getting old.

Useless in the rain as it's not waterproof. Also tends to not work so well in darkness. Finally as my garage is at the bottom of the garden has limited range.

Posted safe in the knowledge she never looks at the forum

The latest top of the range model also puts the kettle on after operating the door mechanism.
OUCH ! mine has just had a glitch in operating system and has struck me on the back of my head.

Mine knows that if it ever gave me mechanical problems, I would trade it in for a newer model.

Tried the garage door opener this morning at 0520 and it didn't work. Repeated blasts on the horn only made my ears ring.
After getting home from work and scanning it with WAG-COM the following erors were found



Subsystem 2 -

4 Faults Found:

02071 - Local Mechanism failure02072- Release agent static
02073- Failed to initiate

02074 - No Signal/Communication - Fast asleep!!!!
Oh well back to using the key, wonder if that bloke still has a spare

Give it one more try and don't take any nonsense.
If it fails again, I think you have cause to return the device under the sale of goods act as :

NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE
