Hi all,

I'm one tiny step away from removing the headling from a 2016 Skoda Yeti L&K. All that stands between me and a victory parade is the cable to the ultrasonic sensor in overhead light pod. The other three cable in the light pod have latches to hold them in place, but apparently not the ultrasonic sensor. Before I chew the connector up, am I missing something obvious or is it just a brute force job?

The sunvisors were a walk in the park compared to this connector!

Photos attached which I hope come through ok. Any help greatly appreciated!

Cheers, Dave

Problem sorted, and both connector and roof lining successfully removed! The connector has a tiny lug that isn't accessible when installed. Wear a pair of latex gloves to improve grip on the tiny end that's accessible and wiggle it free. If Skoda had installed the connector the other way round (upside down) then we would have access to a small hole to press the lug. While it was removed I very carefully drilled through the plastic light pod (hole is not visible when pod is fitted) so that I can press the lug if removal is ever needed again in future. Pics attached...
