I believe you can buy a device that can be fitted to bottom of thehatchback to create a gap for air to enter the boot area of the car - designed primarily I would imagine for dog owners. All I know is it's expandable and lockable but I've no idea what it's called so I'm having trouble finding one. I would also need to check that it is suitable for a Yeti.
Any ideas anyone ?

Be aware.The Ventlock is for parked vehicles. There have been issues with vehicles drawing exhaust fumes into the vehicle,particularly carbon monoxide (in petrol vehicles) where drivers have fitted the Ventlock for ventilation and have driven in error or purposely with it in place.

As above, the Yeti exhaust is very short and it would be more prone than most to admit exhaust fumes.

I would only use it when the car is parked with my dog inside (but not in very hot weather of course) - and only in places where I can keep an eye on it.
