Extra switch

Hi all,
Recently joined after buying a 2012 2.0 Tdi Elegance and much to the wife's surprise have actually read the manual

My question is that I appear to have an additional switch just in front of the gear stick that I cannot find any reference to in the manual. There is a beep when its switched 'on' but nothing shows on the dash to say what I've turned on - any clues please?

It's non-standard fit so rhodayeti's suggestion may well be right but I thought the Elegance came with factory fitted front sensors though that could be because I had park assist on mine.

ps as a follow up, in the picture there is an off road button which i dont have even though its 4X4,?

The Elegance came with rear sensors as standard, front ones came with park assist, you also have rather a lot of blanks for an Elegance. I will have a look at mine tomorrow when it is daylight, I think I just have one possibly two blanks as I didn't specify TPMS.

Front sensors were an optional extra if you don't have park assist.

Many thanks for all your hints and tips as to clues for what the switch does.
There are front parking sensors fitted but the car doesn't come with 'parking assist' though. I'll try switching it on and see what happens when get close to the wall at home - very slowly just in case
