... sadly my gloomy perspective was validated - it failed! ...
Can't ever have a gloomy perspective with Xenon headlights fitted??? :D

Thanks for the update though. Confirmed everyone's suspicions perhaps? Including your own. Dealer perhaps has less experience on this aspect than you do yourself?

Do you also still need to go ahead with the rear fog light swap over as well? Would your DIY theory work? Run a wire from one side cluster to the other perhaps? If you also removed the right side high intensity bulb? That should give almost the same current draw that the lighting computer is expecting? Sounds like that's all the dealer is going to do?

Just out of interest, how much (cost) were the used LHD light units from the seller in Poland? Don't have to answer. Just nosiness on my part.

That's a shame the Dealers had not managed to do it, keep us updated on how you get on with the used lights. With the rear fog couldn't you run a cable to the opposite side disconnecting the English fog-light saving your money?

Doesn't say much for the dealers test set up as they seem to think it was job done.

We had another new member with a similar issue moving to France so, as others have said, we would be interested on the outcome of the saga.
