Hello,
I live in Poole, I currently own a Fabia 1.2 DSG Estate Which has totaly sold me on Skodas. The jokes are most definitely over!!
I have just done a deal with the New Forest Dealer Meadens (who are BRILLIANT) for a 1.2 DSG SE PLUS Yeti. In Aqua blue. The reg number will be HJ62 YAK (as near as I could get to YETI!!)
I wanted one when I bought the Fabia, but being an impatient sort of chap could not wait. Now I am told the Yeti will be here in 2 weeks.
The Yeti will be my 67th car!.
My 'tall' cars have included, 1 HR-V, 4 CR-V's, 2 Discoveries, a Shogun Sport and a Bongo.
I always liked the high driving positon and always promised myself that when someone made a 2WD economical soft roader, I would get one.
Although I love my Fabia, the performance is incredible, faster than the Yeti and more economical, but hey-ho, can't have everything. I do NOT like the narrowness Vs the height of the Fabia, it looks somewhat ridiculous. The Yeti on the other hand (I think) looks fabulaous.
I am retired from Shell Uk (Retail) Divorced and supporter of Southern Lurcher rescue, from whence came my dog Monty.
So that's me folks. I look forward in joining you all on the forum and driving around. Anyone in the Poole area that would like to, please drop me an E.
