If you have fond memories of a previous car this website will tell you how many are left in existance, it will also show numbers for new cars (126 4x4 Deisel Yeti Elegancein 2011, 67 in 2010 and 2 in 2009)).
My favoutire car was a Nissan Prairie Anniversary II,I had it from new for 180,000 miles and 21 years and it never let me down. Not many around now though!

Problem is, they register cars under so many different types.

Take the Yeti in 2011.

126 4x4 TDI Elegance Yeti as you say. This only seems to be the 110 version.
520 Elegance TDI CR 170. All of which are TDI, 4x4 and Elegance, so match the spec above!
Elegance TDI CR 140 seem to be in the lead of the best trim spec with 873 though.

Yes I agree, the advantage with my old Nissan was that there were only three models, the other seven listed were all the Mk2. With so many trim levels it makesthings confusing,It may be of more use to people looking at older cars.
