Yeti 1.7 dsg. 2013.
Upon entering the car the interior light stays on for at least 6 minutes!
Is there a way of adjustment, as it is a great distraction, especially at night.
Thanks

Shut door.
Turn on ignition.
Light goes out.

Problem solved!

Didn't know they made a 1.7!!

OK, made a boo boo! I meant 2.0

I don't think I made myself very clear.
This happens when I get into the car and drive off, that is when the interior light stays on for up to 10 minutes,

PS. The interior light switch IS set to the mid position, as per the manual.Edited by: sunray1948

Thanks for your reply.
There is no door open warning showing in the display.
However:
That has given me an idea.
I reported to Skoda dealer that the offside rear door is slightly misaligned (dropped slightly). Not very good for a new car! (2 weeks old)!
Will see if the fault is rectified when the door has been adjusted.
I am wondering if it might be a contact issue.
Thanks for your help.

Hi everyone. Thanks for your help with my problem.
Non functioning wipers and interior light now working!
The answer?
I checked each fuse in turn and in doing so something seemed to click on.
Conclusion is probably due to the newness of my vehicle something was not quite located properly and the reinserting of the fuses appeared to cure the problem.

New boy here.Hello all.

Picked up our new 1.2 DSG SE earlier this month and all working OK.
Then our interior lights and rear windscreen wipers also packed up.

Right at the end of 2nd head scratching visit to showrooms when everything was working they packed up again when boot not closed really forcefully.
'Faulty boot catch'. New part on order and can be fitted in 40 mins.

Problem has not reoccurred since we made sure boot securely closed.

Will report back again when new catch fitted.
