Hi I have a Yeti 2016 - which I love - but the Infotainment system is busted - the usual dead screen, turns on for half a second etc.
Car was Aus $28,000 (new) - dealer wants $4000 to fix Infotainment system.
I've tried the hard reboot, disconnecting the battery, pulling out the fuses - but no joy.
.
Assume I have the Amundsen because it has satnav.
It has parking sensors and rear camera.
After reading quite a few posts on this very helpful forum I thought I might buy a Kenwood 8019DABX or similar to replace it.
The specs say
Perhaps the Kenwood 8019DABX is overkill? Open to suggestions on this as well.
Thanks in advance!!

Direct OEM Steering Remote Control
The receivers can be installed in most Japanese and Korean vehicles easily.
- I wondered what I need to make it connect to the Skoda steering ?
- Also, I assume that I will need a different surround to make it blend into the dash? If so, are these easy to source? (I'm in Oz)
- I'm occasionally a klutz so will I have much trouble fitting this unit?
- Do rear camera's usually have the same kind of plugs?
- Anything else I would need to get it up in running?
- Any videos on an install would be pretty handy
