G`day all
We are a family of 3,as soon as the paperwork goes through this week we will pick up a 2011 Yeti 103Tdi DSG 4x4 ex dealer demo with 7300 kms, we also have an 2008 Golf Gti DSG we have had since new that we are happy with. Looking forward to being part of the forum and seeing what others do with their Yetis.

thanks mate,
just rang the dealer 15 mins ago.
Looks like a Wednesday or Thursday pick up and hopefully the towbar will be fitted. We really enjoyed the test drive and impressed at how easily it went up a steep wet grass slope.
We will post pics as soon as possible.
Cheers, Rob

Welcome Rob from another rare Aussie owner. You have joined an exclusive club of those who are onto the secret knowledge of Yeti enjoyment. Others will follow as the word gets out. Beware of the addictive feeling of just wanting to find a reason to get in and go!

Hi Rob, hopefully I will be joining you down under in about 2 years. Need to have owned car and Caravan for twelve months so to avoid additional costs and red tape. Getting ready to move over to some sunshine and 2 Grandsons in Melbourne.
My son-in-law "who works for Fords" has said that the Yeti has a very good name in Australia and is becoming a very sought after vehicle.
Good Luck

Any luck with those delivery dates Rob?? Have you got it yet?
It might be good to give her a quick trip to Bucca or Karangi to settle her in.

We've got the paperwork done ,money , insurance etc, salesman (who seems to be a decent bloke) says it will be ready and detailed for pick up this Saturday.

The first 2 pics are ones I took at dealer before towbar was fitted, the rainy one is today.
Cheers, Rob.
P.S. the 4th pic is actually Kimi Raikkonen's Lotus in Melbourne a few weeks ago, just so you don't get confused..........Edited by: hazmat5765

It seems that our Antipodean friends are breeding on the forum and are most welcome.
When will your neighbours in NZ wise up to the virtues of the Yeti?

.........Ummmm, not sure. Kiwis tend to be a rule unto themselves and good on them for that.
Rob.
