Earlier this year I had to sell my BMW motorcycle due to a leg injury, but the replacement has just arrived from Canada and will be delivered next weekend:

I had a Thunderbird and a Greeves 250 in the early years but went to BMW tourers, my last one was the F800 ST.

Don't forget the winter tyres. Not available when I owned FGJ 34J (£396 brand new) but they would have been very usefull many a time I found myself steering with my feet!!!!!!

I don't think winter tyres will do much good, it puts out 350 BHP per ton at the rear wheel and the traction control only comes in when doing over 40 KPH to stop it snaking.I saw a video in the snow and it performed very good, after all it should do, it's derived from their snowmobile.

Glasgow was too far to go, plus I got a slightly better deal from a Midlands dealership, inc some extra's. Got the same colour, I love the black sleek look.
