Hello I picked up my new Yeti today, I went to fill the tank with diesal and could not get the bowser nozzle into the petrol tank.If anyone had this problem and overcome it please enlighten me? Lucky it came with nearly 1/2 tank.Prizzy

That might be because a "diesel" nozzle isn't designed to fit into a "petrol" fuel tank filler.

So, from the beginning..............

Exactly what model do you have?
What fuel should it use?
Were you trying to use a high-output truck nozzle?

I have been waiting for my Yeti for 6 weeks now but I have owned a Octavia 1.9 diesel for the last 5 years and have always had problems with getting the pump nozzle into the tank inlet. It is normally solved by inserting the nozzle upside down and then twisting around to the right way up before starting to fill. I don't know if this problem also applies to Yeti's generally but I hope this helps.

I've never had a problem getting the nozzle in, though it has been difficult getting it out sometimes.

I have a diesel Yeti, and the restrictor in the filler pipe shown in the ppicture below makes it a bit fiddly getting the nozzle in and out.
