Hi there.

Have a brand new Yeti. Can't work out how to adjust the time forward to British Summer Time. Thought it might do it automatically but it hasn't. Can't find anything in the user guide.

Any ideas?

Thanks

It is altered via the Maxi dot display.Sorry i can't remember exactly but as you scroll through the menus one of the options is time and date.
Click on this and then click or un click daylight saving .

I hope someone else will confirm this.

Had an email from my Main Dealer last week, offering to correct the clock free of charge. Now that's what I call service! (Though I've done it myself....not worth the 15 mile round trip)

Steve - if you use the daylight savings setting in the maxidot you don't need to adjust the time with the buttons on the cluster it automatically adds an hour with daylight on and subtracts the hour when you set it off again in October.

We don't muck around with all of that time shifting here in good old W.A. We just let that lucky old sun, that's got nothing to do, but roam around heaven all day, do all of the work. Easy peasy! Ha,ha.

That's OK using the daylight saving tick/untick method if the time has been set correctly in the first place . When I used the MFD and went onto the time setting the daylight saving was already ticked so when I unticked it went BACK one hour making the time wrong by 2 hours , Easy enough to rectify by using the hours symbol in the same time setting . Looks like thereismore than one wayto skin a cat ( hmmm I wonder were that saying comes from ? ).
