Have just visited the U.K with my Yeti, driving from Poole up to Scotland and eventually as far as Inverness. Did about 2k miles in all on some 'interesting' roads.
The Yeti was serviced and inspected before the trip and fitted with a nice new set of Cross Climate 3 tyres. Happy to say the Yeti did not miss a beat and I was very happy with it. So far also very happy with the CC3 which I found quiet and comfortable and gave confidence for some spirited driving on a very tortuous single track Scottish road where getting it wrong would be bad.

I can't say that I have felt that, the tread has been modified slightly now giving it a central longitudinal groove which may help.
They were fitted only a few days before our trip so I only have about 2k miles of data to assess them by. I have driven them in wet & dry conditions, very wet on the motorway near Glasgow, at not time did I feel a lack of grip or an unwillingness to turn in.
There is also a sport version now which is supposed to be better all round.

Before the CC's I swapped wheels twice a year and used sixteen inch wheels and Michelin Alpins in the winter, they were superb it was almost impossible to make them loose grip and the sixteen inch wheels vastly improved the ride. I changed to CC's to stay on sixteen inch wheels all year round as on the sixteens the ride is much better and handling is the same.
