Hi, I have an outdoor Elegance on order in jungle green which will be delivered on 14th May

From the website It's not obvious to me what colour the roof bars will be, I can see the S is black but I can't see where (if at all) up the range they are silver, I see the L&K is mixed.

Doesn't matter what colour I get really.....

Also, I'm new to tow bars but have ordered the removable one as I intend to get a trailer and possibly a towbar mounted bike rack, will a Thule bike rack just fit straight on or will I need anything else?

My Elegance roof rails are all black, I think the L&K is the only model fitted with silver, but I think the front and rear sections that fix to the roof are black.

I have a factory fit detachable towbar but have not even looked at it yet other than I know the detachable bit is fitted into a tray next to the spare under the bootfloor so can't help with this question

Cheers Andy - worked it out.....all models below the L&K have black, however if you upgrade you get all silver on the "indoor" and silver/black on the Outdoor.

Arr yes I never considered the "indoor" model so it was never on my radar

The Thule just fits on the towbar and clamps on with an 18mm spanner. You might need the 13 to 7 pin plug adaptor for the lights.
Would recommend.Edited by: Cornishman53

Hi Neilroadster,

I have a Skoda removeable tow bar fitted to my Yeti. It is very neat and is simple to install/remove however the ball height isfar too high for my trailer which has full size road wheels. This towbar has no height adjustment.

I had to alter the tow hitch of my trailer by adding a 50mm square section spacer and refitting the hitch with longer bolts. The trailer is still very slightly nose up but is within reasonable limits now.

You will love your Yeti when you get it.

If you don't have a 13 pin socket then just buy a converter, available in Halfrauds.

I give up, edited the photo so it would appear the right way up but now the forum won't let me upload it (or another one) as it says I've already uploaded one of the same name.....will try later when on the laptop.
