I am about to own a 140 elegance diesel 2013.It will be my first with no spare.

Has anyone retrofitted a space saver into the boot and purchased the tool kit and all the bits for leveling the boot storage exactly as it would have been from the factory ?

If so can you get all the parts/packing for the boot spaces etc.

Do all yetis have a single specification space saver spare or do they vary.

Have a look through this previous thread. It should answer most of your questions. It is cheaper to order the car with the spare wheel option than buy all the parts from Skoda, but they are available.

You would be much better off buying it as an option with the new car. All Yeti models share the same size spare wheel. It is thinner than your everyday tyres and is speed restricted. Skoda call it a full size temporary tyre.

Thanks for the views and info. I am buying a 12 month old yeti but I now know that a dealer fit option looks ok as a two part number items and it also has the addition of a jack and boot floor components etc etc.Some suggestions around that this may be less than the factory fitted option.
It looks about £250 if i source from SKODAPARTS.com

The wheel is the same for all but there are 2boot floor kits one for the 2wd and the other for the 4wd.

my local dealer did me a deal and I got it for£210
