For those that may be interested.
Stumbled upon this the other day. A hard to find SSP, written in English, on the 1.2 TSI engine. It is labelled as an Audi SSP but the motor is the same for all brands of vehicles.

Is a TFSI engine the same as a TSI engine?

TFSI = Turbo Fuel Stratified Injection
TSI = Turbo Stratified Injection
So they mean the same thing.

FSI = Fuel Stratified Injection...so, without a turbo. FSI basically encompasses a method of high pressure (up to 150 bars) Direct Fuel Injection from a common rail petrol engine. Add a turbocharger and you have TFSI.....and a more exciting drive.
