Yeti is our 2nd new car but absolutely new to owners forum.

Scrolling through I'm dumbstruck that so many are prepared to take the time to help out fellow owners.
It really gives you the feeling of a club. Well done all.

Having explored what seemed like numerous other options we ordered ours after just a 10min test drive (yes, really!)
So also quite relieved to read that, new car teething problems excluded, not many nasties and everyone really seems to like their Yeti. Phew.

Not sure I am going to be offering any advice Snowy.
Even the manual has me confused!

Ordered car 10.08.13. Picked up 23.11.13. So fair old wait.
But very pleased so far and about to take it on first decent trip for Xmas. Now just how do you turn on those fog lights?

And I'll certainly be using the useful link someone provided to download the manual and have that with us on the tablet.

Hi Bondy and welcome to the best forum for Yeti enthusiasts.

You don't say which model you purchased . . . . . . we need to know.

Feel free to lob a piccy in the gallery too - we never tire of looking at good Yeti piccies.

Use the rotary switch to turn on the lights, then gently pull the switch out, first notch is front fog lights, second notch is rear.

Not sure why the extra row of reply is there, the site has been getting a bit "wonkey" lately

Bondy bought a Yeti?

That's Bondy (as in James) not Bondi i.e. all sand and washed up!! Ba Bum!!

Knowing Bonds' character he would own a sophisticated car like a yeti to carry out his exploits in defence of the Commonwealth (yes that even covers your beach)!!

Sorry Paul old chap but you have well and truly missed the mark there. We were referring to Alan Bond. HIS nickname is Bondy and that is what all Australians colloquially know him as. He won the Americas Cup against all comers with his 12 metre boat Australia II, a boat designed by Ben Lexcen, the boat designing genius...Toyota Australia even named a car after him. Unfortunately Bondy ended up in jail a few years later and went from hero to zero practically overnight. A real rags to riches to rags again story. Ba da Bing.
I think James Bond may have Multiple Personality Disorder because he is completely different every time I see him.
