When I was looking for a bike rack for my Yeti Thule did not listed a rear hatch fit unless you have a towbar fitted. When I was looking closely at the Thule 9106 I had used on my Octavia over the years travelling across Europe.
Well I thought why not see if it would fit on the back of the Yeti?
Carefully assemble the rack on rear hatch and checking that the clamps won't damaging the paint plus making sure that cleared the number plate and brake lights.

You can see that there's no problems in fitting the rack. Only thing is there would be increase of fuel consumption due to the drag of the above the roof line.
1st image is the rack fitted to my Octavia Estate. The others are same rack fitted the Yeti.

Useful to know. The estate rear end would be not far from vertical, so every reason why the rack could be adapted to the Yeti fairly easily I guess?
