Only the Amundsen II can be updated using the Skoda update portal. For the earlier models you need to buy a new map card which are often sold on auction sites like Ebay but some are fake so a recommendation of a source is worth getting. Hopefully someone on the forum with the same unit will be along and suggest a source they have used successfully.

Version 12 seems to be the latest. from a cheapo site. I've still got V9 from 3yrs ago. Mine took just over an hour to download but no need to wait till finished because it will carry on where it left off when you next turn ignition back on even if its the next day. I thought this was great.

I am aware that you can buy even cheaper from others, but I purchased from a recommendation made to me and am well happy.

Sorry Rick T I know this is a bit "out of the box" but have you thought of selling your reg number .....kev
