Hi all,Quick question while I'm waiting for delivery of my new Yeti (with baited breath, that is!)
I took one out for a test drive, probably for a little longer than the dealership wanted, but hey ho. It was fun. And I took it home to show the missus, and our driveway is on a slope.
As I left, I had to reverse down the slope - so started the engine, went into reverse, and the engine cut out as I was going back down the slope. Didn't much fancy restarting, either...
Anything I was doing wrong? Anything I should be doing?
Cheers!

Hi and welcome, it could be that you had not got the hang of the yeti there is lot of new owners stalling them as they go out of the garage for the first time manly the TDI so you are not alone. The other thing is if it had the HHC it will hold the brakes on for a few seconds and it can catch you out if you are not use to it, just needs a little more revs to move it and the brakes will releases soon as theABS senses movement, hope this helps Edited by: wakev
