Hello all,

I've had a search on the forum but can't find a conclusive answer as to whether there is a suitable oil extractor for my 2014 Yeti 1.2 TSI engine (engine code CBZB). I want to start changing the oil myself and due to space limitations using an oil extractor would be handy. The dipstick tube seems to narrow after half an inch and the blade of the dipstick is 4mm.

Can anyone help?

Many thanks.

There was a post by another member with a 1.2TSI (not sure which yeqr so may be later engine) wh used a Pela 6000 to extract the oil and the tube seemed to fit. There have been others who have tried the Lidl oil pump where the tube was too large for the petrol but fitted the diesel dip stick so they replaced the tube for a smaller diameter. Thread link is below.

Also in the above when he said he did not get 3.9 litres out the filter was not changed so that will not need to be refilled or emptied.
