Yeti stuck at midnight: spooky radio / clock problem

Bonjour All,

My co-driver has just pointed out that it's always midnight (or midday?) on my Yeti Radio, when the ignition is on but the radio's off.

The virtual second hand still goes round but the other 2 are fixed, apart from occasionally flashing to (I think) 17:35, regardless of the real time, then back to midnight.

The radio and Smartlink still work OK for WAZE etc. and the Maxidot still shows the proper time, so it's more a spooky feature than a problem.

However, I would love to know if there's an easy fix, apart from deselecting the clock display that is...

Any ideas?

A bientôt

Alec

This is popping up quite regularly, the new failure of VAG/Skoda audio equipment. at least the digitizer was a cheap and easy fix.
It's pretty certain that Skoda won't even look at it as it's not a safety issue and they're on MIB 3 now. I just wonder what has caused the software communication glitch, the only changes I've made is to map and POI data.
